01 · Order Processing
OurOrigin does not function as an automated merchant storefront. All orders represent inquiries initialized by the user via a formatted WhatsApp link. Prices shown are for informational purposes representing current seasonal yields. We confirm availability and finalize order requests manually on our WhatsApp line before receiving payment references.
02 · Payments
We collect payments manually using direct UPI transfers. When checking out, we share our UPI ID (`ourorigin@ybl`) for convenient copying. We verify and confirm all transactions individually upon receiving the transaction reference ID over our official WhatsApp support channel.
03 · Seasonal Yields & Natural Variation
We source all spices, teas, and ingredients directly from shade-grown forest micro-regions in the Western Ghats. Since these are wild-harvested and hand-selected items, they exhibit natural differences in flavor, color, sizing, and essential oil content across seasons. We prioritize harvest integrity over product uniformity. These natural variations are not considered manufacturing defects.
04 · Shipping & Dispatch
Orders are packaged and dispatched from Thiruvananthapuram, Kerala, usually within 2 to 3 working days of payment confirmation. Shipping within India is free for orders of ₹399 and above; orders below ₹399 are subject to a nominal shipping fee of ₹60. Local delivery in Thiruvananthapuram is free with no minimum purchase requirement.
