The Terroir & Ecology

CANOPY & CLIMATE

Steep in a way the other origins aren't — mostly slope. What grows here grows because this exact combination of altitude, shade, and rainfall suits it, not because it was convenient.

SOIL & MOISTURE

The trees above the cardamom are left standing on purpose. Shade is a production input here, not an oversight. This is cultivation that works with its conditions rather than against them.

THE FIRST HANDS

Harvest follows the plant's own timing, not a fixed date. The picker returns to the same plants multiple times, taking only what has ripened since the last visit. The decision of what is ready is made alone, in shade, far from a supervisor. This accuracy — accumulated over seasons — is what the product contains.
